Paris Fashion Week: Balmain SS16
Olivier Rousteing's Balmain show is now and will forever be one of my favorite shows during Paris Fashion Week. Olivier went with lot's of beige and chocolate colors in this collection, which is fairly new for him, as well as an array of delicate fabrics. There's nothing minimal about this collection. Olivier specifically wanted the looks to be maximal, and they are AMAZING!
For those of us not fortunate enough to attend this show, there are photos and videos flooding the web from the show. I picked a few looks from the Balmain show that are my favs, and I wanted to share them. Enjoy!
These three are my absolute favorite looks, and of course, on my favorite models.
The fabrics used in these designs are absolutely gorgeous. And the accessories are kept minimal, as not to take away from the WOW factor of the looks.
You may or may not have noticed, but many of the looks included some type of belt or cinching of the waist. The silhouette is incredibly sexy and timeless.
Olivier does a great job at making clothes that flatter women of all body types. His collection with H&M will do INCREDIBLY well when it releases!
