NYFW SS16: My Favorite Trends

Every season, there's a few trends that I love more than others. This season is no different. Here are 5 of my favorite trends thus far.

ALL WHITE

There's always something so classic and crisp about an all white look. These looks are from Alexander Wang (left) and Maria Cornejo (right).

SHOW SOME SKIN

Showing just a small sliver of skin can amp up the sexiness of an outfit, without being too revealing. These looks are from Mara Hoffman (left) and Alexander Wang (right).

FRINGE

There are plenty of ways to wear fringe. Vests, skirts, tees. You can go for a minimal, discreet fringe look. Or be daring and go for maximum fringe. These looks are by Reed Krakoff (left) and Proenza Schouler (right).

CINCHED WAISTS

I've always recommended that you add a belt at the waist of an outfit to give the appearance of a slimmer waist. These looks are by Alexander Wang (left) and Michael Kors (right).

STATEMENT HATS

Pharrell broke the internet when he first sported his Vivienne Westwood hat. But these statement hats have become a trend since. Pair them with a very casual outfit to add some sass. This look is by Mara Hoffman.
