Imagine a world where you owned fewer clothes. I love fashion as much as the next girl (trust me, I could live in a mall), but sometimes you just can't handle that much clothing. Whether it's an issue of money or space, you may need to enter the world of minimalism. I'm here to help!
1. Admit that you have a problem
The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem, right?
2. Establish your style
What is your style? What clothing items in your wardrobe completely express your personality? What do you feel most comfortable in?
3. Get rid of your junk
Throw away, donate, and sell anything that you don't need. It's just taking up space.
4. Set limits
Create a monthly budget for yourself. Don't buy something if you can't think of multiple ways to style it.
5. Don't splurge on your basics
Places like Forever 21 and H&M sell basics for cheap that are excellent quality. Save on your basics and you'll be able to splurge on key pieces.
6. Quality over quantity
Would you rather have 50 tops that cost $1 each and will most likely be destroyed in the first wash, or 1 top that costs $50 and will last for years?
Remember, it's not what you wear, but how you wear it!
